Our Story 我们的故事
Since 2016, RC (Ryan Chu) decided to quit his full‑time engineer job and travel the world. He began by journeying overland from Cambodia to Malaysia, then backpacked through Europe on a budget for 60 days, and later camped in Iceland for 17 days—all on a shoestring.
This journey ignited Ryan’s passion for travel writing. He started sharing his travel diaries and tips on Facebook under the page “RC Wanderlust.” One of his posts was picked up by a major travel publication, which inspired him to create a dedicated Facebook page for fellow travel enthusiasts.
Since then, Ryan has become a full‑time traveler.
First Group Tour 首团
Around 2018, Ryan received a message from one of his followers asking him to organize a small-group tour. That’s when the RC Tour journey began.
The very first tour was a self-drive trip circling Iceland via the Ring Road (Route 1), an iconic 1,322 km loop offering stunning landscapes and many must-see attractions.
Soon after that inaugural trip, more and more groups showed interest and began booking with Ryan—marking the start of many adventures to come.
自2016年起，RC（Ryan Chu）决定辞去全职工程师的工作，开始环游世界。他先从柬埔寨陆路到马来西亚，然后在欧洲以预算方式背包旅行60天，接着在冰岛露营17天。
这些经历激发了Ryan 撰写旅行日记的热情，他在Facebook上开始了“RC Wanderlust”页面，分享旅行心得和建议。后来，他的一篇文章被知名旅游刊物转载，使他决定建立一个专门用于旅行分享、面向同好者的Facebook页面。
从那时起，Ryan 成为了全职旅游博主。
大约在 2018 年，Ryan 收到一位粉丝的留言，请他组织一个小型旅行团，这就是 RC Tour 开始的契机。
首次旅行是环绕冰岛 一号公路（Route 1）自驾环岛之旅，这条路线全长 1,322 公里，涵盖冰岛著名景观和必游景点 。

Our Mission 我们的使命
In 2017, Ryan embarked on his solo visit to Ladakh, India—a trip that completely transformed his perception of the country. Far from the stereotypes portrayed by mainstream media as chaotic or unsafe, Ladakh revealed itself to be a stunning and culturally rich region hidden amidst the Himalayas. He discovered remote villages, ancient monasteries, and off-the-beaten-path landscapes that defy conventional views of India .
This journey ignited what would become RC Adventurous—Ryan’s mission to unveil the world’s untold gems, destinations that most travelers overlook or misunderstand.
“The purpose of the tour is to show people these untold gems around the world… to show people the authentic side of the country before mass tourism comes and ruins it.”
He focused on crafting small-group, authentic travel experiences—staying in local guesthouses, supporting communities, and traveling as a local would, to break away from conventional tourism molds.
2017年，Ryan首次踏上印度拉达克之旅——这次旅行彻底颠覆了他对印度的看法。远离媒体描绘中的混乱与危险，拉达克展现出迷人且文化底蕴深厚的高原风光。他探索了偏远乡村、古老寺院和不为人知的秘境，挑战了人们对印度的传统印象。

RYAN “RC” CHU — He is a Sarawak-born, Miri-raised travel enthusiast and the founder of RC Adventurous. He has explored nearly 60 countries, often venturing into off-the-beaten-path destinations to uncover their hidden gems and untold stories. Since launching RC Adventurous, he has guided more than 300 clients, navigating through the challenges of the COVID‑19 pandemic with steadfast spirit. Even during those difficult times, his passion for travel never faded—he continued to push boundaries and introduce people to the world’s most beautiful, lesser-known places.

PAXTON CHU is the brother of RC. He has years of experience handling self-driving tours, specializing in Iceland and Lake Baikal, Russia. He is a photography enthusiast, a marathoner, and a lover of nature and outdoor activities. His dream is to conquer some of the toughest hiking trails in the world. He hopes to inspire others by sharing his passion for hiking and his deep love for nature.
PAXTON CHU 是 RC 的兄弟。他拥有多年带领自驾游的经验，专注于冰岛和俄罗斯贝加尔湖。他是一位摄影爱好者、马拉松跑者，也热爱大自然和户外活动。他的梦想是征服世界上一些最艰难的徒步路线。他希望通过分享自己对徒步旅行的热情和对大自然的热爱，来激励更多人加入这段旅程。
Is RC's Tour Suitable For You?
RC 旅游团适合谁参加？
RC Adventurous does not discriminate and imposes no age restrictions on who may sign up—provided participants must be physically fit and mentally prepared. The main aim of RC’s tours is to offer authentic cultural immersion and a genuine insight into local lives.
Many of our destinations are off the radar and not equipped with typical tourist infrastructure. You should expect basic living conditions—there are no star-rated hotels, and bush toilets are common. Due to the remoteness of these locations, unforeseen circumstances may arise, and itineraries may change at short notice.

RC Adventurous 不歧视任何人，也不设年龄限制——但报名者必须身体健康、心理准备充分。RC 旅行的核心目标是提供地道的文化沉浸体验，深入呈现当地人的真实生活。
我们的很多目的地都非常小众，缺少常规的旅游基础设施。你需要做好心理准备，生活条件会非常朴素，不会有星级酒店，野外厕所（bush toilets）十分常见。由于这些地方地处偏远，行程中可能随时发生意外，行程安排也可能会在短时间内更改。
